Entrance to the concert is through the door on the LEFT.
NOTE: Concerts take place on the second floor. Roost and Union Arts Center are located in a one hundred year-old restored firehouse without an elevator.
For those who do not wish to dine, a limited number of tickets will be sold at the door payable by cash or Venmo only. A table is not guaranteed with these tickets.

Roost Restaurant is happy to invite you to the jazzlounge at Union Arts Center! Presented by Mz. Valentine, February Jazz Lounge will showcase Latin Jazz guitarist Nelson Riveros and his band, featuring Hector Martignon, Gabriel Vivas and Tony Cintron.
New York based guitarist Nelson Riveros is part of an emerging force of a new generation of Contemporary Latin-Jazz artists. His latest recording âThe Latin Side of Wes Montgomeryâ on ZOHO Music has spent 20 weeks on Jazz Week reaching to #2 for two weeks and 8 weeks in the Top 10.
Nelson took several of the guitaristsâ compositions and arranged them in different Latin and Caribbean rhythms creating a new fresh sound on Wesâ music. In making this terrific album Riveros wanted to collaborate with the very best musicians: Hector Martignon(piano), a two-time Grammy nominee. Grammy winner Mark Walker (drums); Andy McKee (bass) and Jonathan Gomez (percussion).
His group has performed at The Iridium, Zinc Bar, 55 Bar, La Lanterna/Bar Next Door, Mintonâs, Miami and festivals through out the try state area as well as a tour of Colombia. Nelson has performed and recorded with Grammy nominated pianist Hector Martignon, Grammy winning musicians; John Benitez, Mark Walker, Samuel Torres. Luis Bonilla, Alfredo De La Fe, Jeremy Wall of Spyro Gyra âCharles Ives For Jazz Orchestraâ featuring: Billy Drewes, Scott Wentholt, Jim Seeley, John Mosca, Ivan Renta, Vince Cherico.
His debut recording titled âCamino Al Barrioâ peaked at #8 on the Jazz Week World Music Chart. He was nominated among his peers as âNext Best Generation Artistâ and âBest Latin Jazz Guitarâ for the 2010 Latin Jazz Corner Best of The Year Awards.
