Rockland Jazz Collective FREE Open Rehearsals

The Rockland Jazz Collective is a new 16 piece jazz big band organized by Rockland County natives and jazz luminaries Scott Reeves – trombone, Richard Sussman – piano, and Don Falzone – bass. The band’s members feature some of the most outstanding jazz musicians residing in the lower Hudson Valley. They will be holding open rehearsals at the Union Arts Center on the first & third Thursday of every month from 7:30-9:30. These rehearsals will be FREE and open to the public! So come on down to UAC and enjoy some great jazz AND enjoy the great art displayed on our walls. The band would love to see you there! Student musicians will especially benefit from seeing how an arrangement is rehearsed and put together into a cohesive form.
