In “Magic & Beauty,” her debut photography exhibition, Catarina Cunha shares her perspective of everyday life through the eyes of a neuroscientist. Her subjects are at once romantic, moody, and almost haunting, and all shot on her iPhone.
All images are framed acrylic prints. All photos are also available in additional sizes and may be reproduced on other surfaces, i.e. canvas or archival paper.

A few photos from the opening reception on August 30th:
“The world inspires me every day. My curiosity drives me to investigate our mind through science and I try to capture scenes through photography.
I was born in Porto, Portugal, and grew up in Bochum, Germany. I moved a lot for work and now I live in Nyack, NY. My two passions are science and art.
Frist out of struggle, I started to capture the beauty and magic in everyday life. I’m freezing my mind’s eye perspective of this world in time and sharing it with you.
This exhibition shows photography from the New York metropolitan area and it was taken with an iPhone.”
