Through Wednesday, November 14
SALUTE is a non-profit organization, established in 1974, to recognize, support and celebrate the efforts of women in the arts. We do this by exhibiting members’ work throughout the year in as many venues as possible. SALUTE artists represent an array of the visual arts: oil, acrylic, and watercolor painters; photographers, portraiture artists; artists whose medium is craypas and charcoal as well as collagists. Some artists work big, while others work small. SALUTE artists have studied and mastered their craft at college art departments, local art centers, the Art Students League and with established artists such as Ben Benn, Will Barnet, Vaclav Vytlacil and Hans Hofmann. Many SALUTE artists have exhibited their work in galleries in New York and New Jersey as well as in travelling exhibitions that have visited Europe, Israel, Asia, Canada and South America. Most of SALUTE’s artists have participated in juried shows; their resumes and biographies listing the prizes that they have won. Exhibition Runs Through November 14th.
